Welcome to Homeschooling Second Grade Science! My goal is to guide you step-by-step through the process of learning to use the free, high-quality science curriculum from Core Knowledge to homeschool your student.
What Will Your Student Learn in Second Grade? Your student will learn about the cycles in nature, insects, the cells and systems of the human body, magnetism, and simple machines. They will also be introduced to famous scientists including Anton van Leeuwenhoek, Elijah McCoy, Florence Nightingale, and Daniel Hale Williams.
